Well, here's a little glimpse into my life outside the office...

→ I call the sunny red dot of Singapore 🇸🇬 my home sweet home. 🏠
→ I love travelling 🧳 and have explored over 20 countries and counting.
→ I curated the Parade & Ceremony segment into a
story-led showcase for Singapore's 44th birthday celebration back in 2009. It was a groundbreaking moment!


More than a past decade, I've been leading design teams between design houses, ad agencies, and tech startups. Variety keeps things interesting, you know?

From idea to execution: An interactive vending machine that dispenses canned drinks

2023-Current:  Senior Creative (Contract) @ Publicis Groupe Singapore

Collaborating closely with the ECD and creative teams across a wide spectrum of initiatives falling under the Health Promotion Board's purview:

Experiences:

+ Spearheaded the development of campaign concepts, overseeing art direction, and managing the entire production process, encompassing mediums like film, Print, OOH and social media content.
+ Championing a superior level of creative artistry to enhance visual resonance.
+ Taking the reins on shaping the client's brand identity and crafting diverse touchpoints and style guides to bolster design coherence and facilitate scalable designs.
+ Skillfully coordinating internal stakeholders and clients to realize marketing objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Worked closely with cross functional product design team within Publicis Groupe for various projects

Project Highlight:

2022-2023:  GLOBAL Head of Brand design @ beam mobility

Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer at Beam Mobility in this newly created role, I led a team of 3 talented creatives with an aim to support Beam's global branding, advertising and marketing efforts. I established the creative vision for Beam and orchestrated my team's work, ensuring that all designs, products and experiences were delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

2019-2021:  Creative head @ SiliconPlus Communications

In my role at SiliconPlus Communications, I led a dynamic creative team of 10 professionals, including Art Directors, designers, and copywriters. My mission was to expand the agency's design services while successfully securing new business opportunities through winning pitches.

Experience:
+ Spearheaded the creative team, overseeing diverse areas such as branding, photoshoots, videos, animations, campaigns, marketing strategies, and new business pitches.
+ Provided coaching and mentorship to elevate the team's skills in video editing, motion graphics, and animation, consistently implementing industry best practices.
+ Managed work assignments, timelines, and conducted quarterly staff performance evaluations to enhance workflow efficiency and maintain high work standards.
+ Played a pivotal role in transitioning the agency's focus from traditional BTL-based work to integrated campaigns

- Conceptualised and localised Allianz’s new branding for Asia Markets.

- Conceptualised and created advertisements for BMW in various key markets in Asia.

- Strengthened and built the agency’s digital capabilities.

- Created award-winning creative works for the agency.

- Changi Airport Agency of Record 2013-2015 (3 years in a row)

- Produced successful digital campaigns (i.e. Rethink Changi, Be a Changi Millionaire, Changi Travelers Series).

- Produced the first 360° interactive website in-house: Be a Changi Millionaire.

- Produced the first digital-led website within the agency: SG50 @ Changi Airport.

- Co-produced Share to stop the decline and was shortlisted in Cyber Lion, Spikes Asia & Creative Circle Awards.

His industry experience started when he was appointed as the Deputy Secretary (Creative) in charge of Singapore's National Day 2009. Where he works with Creative Director, Ivan Heng and Visual Effects Director, Brian Gothong for a One Show concept. He turned creative ideas into reality and executed the Parade & Ceremony segment.

Wilson led his team to introduce social media as a tool to engage with thousands of participants every National Day. This was at that time a pilot concept and has since been a staple for NDPpeeps every National Day.
